It Was After My First Birth That My Mission Had Begun. What Would The World Look Like If Every Woman Could Birth In Her Power? Be Free, Respected, Approached With Tenderness And Care. What If She Would Be Seen As A Goddess And Birth Would Be Sacred?
In my work I love to create space for women to get an intimate encounter with themselves. Because it is there where she can truly start to see and listen to her heart. And it is in the heart that the answers to the soul path are being revealed.
As a Birth Doula, a creative Therapist, and a pre & postnatal yoga graduate I weave the tools I learned together. Learning through experience is what I believe in. That is how I choose to implement creative exercises, meditations, visualizations, nature walks a.o. in my work. Knowledge about birth is important but knowing thyself even more.
My biggest teachers in life are my 3 children. Each individual personality is teaching me to truly see. To read their needs and guide them through their first fundamental years of their lives. I face my shadows and fall back into them again. And it is the ongoing role as a mother that keeps me on track. I have to show up, day in, day out, allowing me to reveal more of myself, layer after layer. And I love it! It is this unconditional presence that I bring to my work as well. I want to know who you are! I care and feel honoured to have the opportunity to watch you grow.
Creative expression
has always been my way to get a better understanding of personal processes in life. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, creative expression helps me to get an overview of where I am standing and it calms me down. As an art therapist I learned how to guide others to benefit from that similar effect. I see art as a very powerful birth preparation tool. It shines a surprising light on your inner emotional landscape and can bring you in connection with your wisdom. This deeper, inner knowing allows you to confidently decide the right choices for you on the path ahead.
